My name is Grant and I grew up in Cape Town, in a
Christian home however when I started working I easily fell into the
world of material wealth and communion with Lord was only when in times
of trouble.
I recommitted my life to the Lord in 2003 and felt God lead me to
Nigeria. There I was given a secular job to fund the ministry. The same
company then sent my onto Ghana and with another relocated to Tanzania.
Finally in 2006 I was led back to South Africa and the call on my life
to come and study full-time. It has been challenging adjustment after
working for the last 30 odd years. But I am confident that God is able
to complete a good work that he has started in me. -

Hi my name is James and I am from Tanzania and I
am in my final year at Cornerstone in the Community Development stream.
While studying here at Cornerstone, I was challenged by the fact that
poverty starts in people’s mind. This challenged me to think even more
how to use the knowledge I acquired to bring changes to my community.
As a community development student who acquired high and practical
knowledge from one of the best colleges in South Africa if not in Africa
(Cornerstone Institute), I have all the reasons to make a
difference in my community.

I am Nokukhanya and I come from the beautiful
province of Kwa-Zulu-Natal. I am a 1st year student at Cornerstone
majoring in Psychology.
I volunteered last year for an organization called Fire Fox where I
started to develop as a leader and appreciate my background as an
African.
I have been challenged to think out of the box regarding the many
challengers that our young people are facing. I felt God lead me to
Cornerstone to further equip myself to impact the youth of South Africa.
